BEGINNER OBEDIENCE

Beginner Obedience 

One session per week | 60–90 minutes per session

  • The 5 basic commands: sit, stay, come, down, heel

INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE

One session per week | 60–90 minutes per session

Ready to take your dog’s training to the next level? Building on the basics with more advanced skills like off-leash handling, platform training, and refined leash work for handlers. This course helps strengthen control, focus, and communication between you and your dog—on and off the leash.

  • Advanced response to cues in more distracting environments

ADVANCED OBEDIENCE

One session per week | 60–90 minutes per session

designed for teams ready to fine-tune their obedience and explore more advanced work. This course pushes focus, reliability, and performance under distraction, while also introducing foundational scent work related to article search skills. Ideal for dogs with solid obedience who are ready for a challenge.

What Your Dog Will Learn:

  • Advanced platform work with increased duration, distance, and distraction
  • Obedience with a higher level of precision and reliability
  • Exposure to distraction-heavy environments
  • Introduction to scent work related to article search for mental stimulation and task focus

IMPRINTING & TRACKING

Imprinting & Tracking (12-Week Course)
 
One session per week | 90–120 minutes per session
 
 An intensive 12-week course built for serious K9 development in scent work and tracking. This course starts with the fundamentals of imprinting and builds toward full-person tracking with precision, consistency, and documentation. It’s ideal for handlers working toward operational K9 tracking goals or those wanting to build a highly skilled scent dog.
 
Course Focus:
• Imprinting scent and tracking behaviors from the ground up
• Teaching your dog to locate a person through progressive track work
• Building motivation and reliability using hides and rewards
• Tracking with real-world goals: time, distance, and environmental variability
 
7 Required Components for Successful Tracks:
1. Imprinting Square – Introducing scent and initial search behavior
2. L-Track with Food – Building foundation with motivation and direction
3. L-Track with Hide – Removing food, reinforcing target find
4. Blind Track with One Article in the Hide – Testing scent memory and confidence
5. Blind Track with Two Articles in the Hide – Increasing complexity and precision
6. 30-Minute Aged H-Track (Hide Included) – Time-based tracking with endurance
7. 500-Yard H-Track with Two Articles in the Hide – Long-distance tracking with article identification
 
Each session includes date and time documentation to help monitor progress and meet training standards.

 Urban & Night Tracking (6-Week Course)

Prerequisite: Completion of imprinting & Tracking
 
This advanced 6-week course is designed for teams ready to take their tracking skills into the real world. Urban & Night Tracking exposes both handler and K9 to real-life scenarios, including distractions such as vehicles, foot traffic, wildlife, and limited visibility. It’s about pressure-proofing your tracking dog for high-stakes, real-world applications—day or night.
 
What Your Dog Will Learn:
• Navigating scent trails in urban environments
• Managing distractions like cars, people, and animals
• Maintaining track focus across concrete, asphalt, and mixed surfaces
• Tracking in low-visibility or nighttime conditions
• Reinforcing accurate article identification and final response in complex environments
 
What You’ll Learn:
• How to handle and interpret your dog’s behavior in unpredictable environments
• Safety protocols for urban and night tracking
• How to support your dog’s confidence and decision-making under pressure
• Effective communication between handler and K9 during real-world tracks
